Who is who
- Owner
- Aforena
- aforenahq@gmail.com
- Aforena (the owner above) provides the platform.
- The organizer is the venue, club or promoter that publishes and sells an event or a membership. Its name is on its page and on your tickets.
- You, as a buyer or user, are the person who buys, signs up or books; if you manage a venue, you are an organizer or a member of its team.
Part 1 · Using the platform
1.1 Acceptance. By buying, signing up, booking or creating an account you accept these conditions. If you don't agree, don't use those features.
1.2 Accounts. Accounts are for organizers and their teams. You must give true details, keep your password secret and tell us if you think someone knows it. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Each organization's owner decides each team member's role.
1.3 Proper use. You may not use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, interfere with how it works, access other organizations' data or extract data automatically outside the authorized API.
1.4 Suspension. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these conditions or the law, giving notice where possible.
1.5 Changes. We may update these conditions. A purchase is governed by the version in force when you make it; organizers will be told about important changes in advance.
Part 2 · Purchases, guest lists, tables and memberships
2.1 Who sells to you. The contract for the event (or membership) is between you and its organizer. Aforena manages the sale on the organizer's behalf and sends you the tickets, but does not organize the event.
2.2 How buying works. You choose your tickets, give your name and email, and pay through our payment provider. While you pay, your tickets are held for a few minutes; if payment isn't completed in time, they are released. The purchase is confirmed when the payment is confirmed, and your tickets are then emailed to you.
2.3 Price. Prices include applicable taxes. Any booking fee is shown before you pay. Prices may go up in tiers as tickets sell; you pay the price you see when buying.
2.4 Your tickets. Each ticket has a QR code that works only once: whoever shows it first gets in. Don't share screenshots of your tickets. For named tickets, the door may ask for ID.
2.5 Entry. The organizer may reserve the right of admission under the applicable entertainment regulations, and sets the minimum age, dress code and other conditions shown on the event. Having a ticket doesn't guarantee entry if you don't meet those conditions or your behaviour prevents it; in those cases the price is not refunded unless the law says otherwise.
2.6 No right of withdrawal. As these are leisure services for a specific date, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (article 103.l of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). Refunds depend on the organizer's conditions and on the next clause.
2.7 Cancellations and changes. If the organizer cancels the event, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. If it is postponed, your ticket is valid for the new date; if you can't attend, you may request a refund within the period announced. Refunds are made to the original payment method. Refunding is the organizer's responsibility; Aforena helps to process it.
2.8 Guest lists. Joining a list is free unless a door price is shown (for example, free until a certain time and then a price). Your place depends on the list's times, its conditions and available capacity. If a promoter adds you, it is recorded that they invited you.
2.9 Tables. A table may require a deposit paid when booking and taken off the minimum spend. Some bookings need the venue's confirmation. The venue assigns the specific table. If you don't show up, the deposit may not be refunded, depending on the offer's conditions. The minimum spend is paid at the venue.
2.10 Memberships. They are personal and non-transferable, valid for the period shown and, where stated, for a number of entries. The card's QR lets you in once per night. The organizer may cancel it if it is used fraudulently.
2.11 Resale. Reselling tickets, places or memberships without the organizer's permission is prohibited. Resold tickets may be cancelled without refund.
2.12 Aforena's liability. We are responsible for the sale working properly and for sending your tickets. We are not responsible for organizing, holding, the content or the safety of the event, which are the organizer's responsibility.
2.13 Help and complaints. For any problem with an event, contact its organizer first; you can also write to aforenahq@gmail.com and we will help you sort it out. If needed, you can ask for the official complaints form at the venue or go to the consumer arbitration board of your region.
Part 3 · Organizers
3.1 Joining. To sell with Aforena you create an organization and accept these conditions on its behalf, guaranteeing you are authorized to do so. Commercial terms (fees, services) are agreed separately.
3.2 Your responsibility. You are responsible for the information about your events and offers, for holding the necessary licences and insurance, for respecting the authorized capacity and entertainment regulations, for your taxes and for handling any refunds owed to your customers.
3.3 Payments. Online payments are collected through the payment provider connected to your organization. Box office, bar and partner (API) sales are recorded by you on the platform.
3.4 Your customers' data (data processing agreement). You are the controller of your buyers', guests', bookings', members' and customers' data. Aforena processes it on your behalf as a processor (article 28 GDPR), only to provide the service and following your instructions. In particular, Aforena:
- does not use that data for its own purposes, nor sell or share it with third parties;
- requires confidentiality from the people who access it;
- applies appropriate security measures (encryption in transit, encrypted passwords, role-based access, backups);
- only uses the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy (Contabo GmbH (Alemania / Germany, UE / EU); Sendinblue SAS — Brevo (Francia / France, UE / EU); Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Irlanda / Ireland, UE / EU)) and will tell you before changing them;
- helps you handle people's rights (for example, the feature to forget a customer) and will inform you without delay of any security breach;
- when the service ends, returns or deletes the data, except what the law requires to be kept.
3.5 Marketing. You may only send campaigns to customers who agreed to receive them; the platform enforces this and adds an unsubscribe link to every email. Don't import contact lists from other sources without their consent.
3.6 Team and keys. You decide who in your team has access and with which role. API keys are confidential; revoke them if you stop using them or suspect they have leaked.
3.7 Leaving. You can stop using Aforena whenever you want. We keep the data the law requires (for example, accounting data) for the legal periods.
Part 4 · Governing law
These conditions are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights given by the law of your country of residence and may go to the courts where you live.
